hi! thanks for the suggestion. but due to the local road legality issues, I am unable to omit those else I would be failing the mandatory yearly road worthy test & attracting unwarranted fines. having read through all, flashing the ECU is still ultimately the best option to go unless leaving it...

thats what I thought so too. but over here in sunny Singapore, the version of the S10 shld be euro spec (with hazard light flashers) & immobiliser equipped. so if I would send the ECU to reflash, mostly to fine tune the low torque & perhaps FC rate, will the flashing remove the immobiliser mode...

mine is a Gen 1 S10 therefore, no OBD port to plug into. working out a deal for a totalled S10 that's parting up. trying to absorb more info before I commit.

ok, just to confirm. ideally it must be a complete set (ECU+Immobiliser) in order for the system to work, right?

hi tenbob. splash guard is of reasonable material & so far the powder coating for the bracket is holding good. no rusts. however, I am corresponding with the guys in Turkey, regarding the flexing of the bracket when on the move, as there is only a single mounting point. not sure whether there...

yeah, managed to get hold & install them just bef the monsoon season in my sunny island this time round. did avert some of the road grime away from the rear sub-frame & suspension. but IMO, I dont recommend for offroad. the hugger is considerable okay if you're without H&B/DS's rear brake...

just curious. anyone fitted this, in exact location without any modification+ rear tire hugger? any fitment or clearance issues?

Noted. I reckon can disregard the OEM pressure plate (Diaphragm type) as it works differently from Barnett's, albeit they're both carrying out the same function. I like the Barnett's as it helps the shifting (up or down) to be almost seamless than before. I initially tried with the softest...
