I thought this below could be related to it...looks full of oil and i know it's connected to the bottom of the airbox. I'll have to try and check it, but most likely, it'll get done by the shop since i suppose it'll envolve removing the tank and other stuff to get there.

I have the same feeling....it shouldn't leak, not after replacing the entire pump. I need to have this checked by the shop, if someone can point / show where this crankcase breather hose is located...it could help. Anyway, do you suggest if this other hose is somehow blocked, it could cause...

Well...it still has a bit of oil coming out after a ride and it's not old oil...nothing dramatic, but still not sealing properly and it's a new pump. I'll have to wait and see if it is a question of the seals being new....but not what i was expecting after replacing the pump.

Do....Valve clearance / adjustment....TBS....check the coils for corrosion ( if there is rust, most likely won't help neither...repair or replace )....replacing the fuel filter ( aftermarket items do exist ) can help too. Pretty sure it'll run fine after a bit of mechanical TLC.

Thanks for the tip, yet again ! ;-) I'll have a look 1st to see how it's on. If it was me doing it, i'd have cleaned it, but i doubt most shops go to that length..... I also had the feeling it could be old oil, but how much oil can there be in a hose...? Maybe enough to do this, who...

It was done at the shop, not by me. I also had the same thought ( some old residue....), but i seriously doubt that they did that.... Anyway, it seems to seep in after a ride, and i've done a few since i got it installed. Not much, but it's there. I can still just take the skid-plate to access...

Brand new pump in, a couple of weeks old...but i still do have a slight coat of oil showing up after a ride, like a drop that stays at the tip of the tube. The guys at the shop said it's ok and should stop after a while, after everything bedds in. My expectation, was for nothing to show up and...

Well, today i took the bike to work, 31 miles ride, everything was ok, it was colder in the morning....no oil dripping....on the way back, another 31 miles and about 91.4Fº air temperature ( coolant ranged from 172Fº to from 181Fº ), as soon as i park the bike in the garage...it starts...

Thanks for the feedback ! :-) I'll keep an eye on it, if it starts happening more often or becomes more abundant, i'll get it sorted, even if it means a new pump. My bike has roughly 52.200 miles.

I changed mine, it stopped working properly, opening too late and taking too long to close...tested it myself after replacing with a new one. These things can go bad...nothing is forever.
