I see what the other poster meant by bending the latch tab down. It worked.

Ok....I got the seat concepts low seat and now mine won't latch either. I have removed the high/low frame.

I just noticed the same behavior today, my coolant temp was bouncing between 158-172 and changing rapidly every few seconds for a while. Strange....

Ok so I put the seat height adjust back in the low position (30 inseam for me). It's definitely a bit higher than without the adjuster (obviously), but it did level it out a bit more for me. Just imagine I did a 900 mile ride with a more exaggerated slope than anyone!
