    Will you take the vaccine

My doc, a very well known immunologist, has recommended I wait for the second gen vaccine. He said, "The first round of vaccines historically has the highest chance of side effects and the lowest effectiveness. Wait." He has also pointed out that although I'm in my 60s, I have no co morbidity...

    2021 Ducati Multistrada V4

This is why I buy used. A 2012 Super10 for $4k and a 2010 Ducati 1198 for $5k. One for long trips and adventure, the other for track days. That leaves me with $15k left over. And I've still got the old Harley which is fun in it's own way. Life is the variety of spice

    Super Tenere Rally Arkansas, 2020

I'm in Atlanta, and fennelg has tentative plans to ride over from n. Carolina and ride from here with me. Probably ride for a few hours out and find a place to stay to make for a shorter next day ride. The other option is to stay at my place and head out for about a 12 hour ride. You are...

    waterless coolant

At many tracks it is a safety requirement as leaky antifreeze and water is very slippery. Waterless coolant is much less so.

    Rear caliper

Some bikes do use the rod. It's a bit more effective on bikes with longer swingarms like the S10 as it makes the rod longer, and as it's essentially a lever, a longer lever has more leverage. Yamaha was brilliant in this part of the S10's design, as it's so simple yet so effective.

You can stick a blade fuse into the clutch switch to defeat it. Either to diagnose the problem or just to cure it.

    MC Cruise issue

I had an old car that would do that because the cruise control was designed to deactivate (or not activate at all) below 40mph. If you set it at 40-43 mph, any slowdown would cancel the cruise. Try it at 55-60.

An old guys initial impressions of a 2012 ST.

If the seat is on the highest position, lowering it will make a significant difference. A friend wanted to ride my s10, but was concerned about the height since he's pretty short... like maybe 5'6" or 7". With the seat lowered he was good to go and rode it several hundred miles with no issues.

An old guys initial impressions of a 2012 ST.

The seat has two positions, I would start by making sure the seat is already in the low position. It's easy and quick to check and change. Just pop off the seat and check if the plastic bit under the seat is on the front holes or the rear holes. You can also take out a bit of preload in the...

    140/80-17

You would have an aneurism if you saw some of my bikes. I've been known to build motors that make more power than stock, put different size wheels on, and even screw with frame geometry. Why? Because it's how I get my grins. To the OP, I've run that tire in the past and it worked fine for me...
