I bought a couple of seats and decided to keep the Laam seat and sell this one. This seat is the low version on a Seat Concepts pan so you won't have to have the cover and foam installed on your factory pan. This is simply a plug and play seat. It has a few scuffs from boot drag, but not bad at all.

$150 delivered to the lower 48 states.

Thanks,

~Tony

Do you think this would be lower than the Touretech?
I had the standard Touratech, which is the lower of their two models, and loved the seat but had to part with it because it had me on tiptoes. Not a problem on clean pavement but it was scary to keep the bike upright when stopped on other surfaces with the weight of this wee beastie. I discovered the problem thanks to comments from others on here, is that the Touratech is a bit wider at the front. One guy, I believe about 6'3 with 33-34 inseam said he had to use the standard (lower) Touratech because of the way the front spreads his thighs outward. Most comfortable for sitting of the several non-custom seats I tried, but for me uncomfortable in situations where I needed a foot/feet down. Just my $.02 worth with regard to the Touratech. The width, not the height, made it impractical for me.

how would rate this seat for comfort compared to stock? I have a Sargent that I am not completely sold on. Better than stock but I tended to do long days

Hi Rob - When I look on the Touratech website, both Euro and USA, they only list two seats now, standard and high. Maybe they used to have a low, or maybe one has to ask outside of the normal ordering process these days. I really liked the Touratech (standard) but was unable to get comfortable ground contact for my feet except for while on clean pavement. Anything else was sketchy since I could only get toes down. I'm using a Corbin now and am quite happy with it overall (although my tail preferred the Touratech). I also tried a Sargent and didn't care much for it.

i think in the early days when they had alot of stuff for the xt1200 on there webb site they had a low, standard, high i,ve seen 1 or 2 low ones second hand on ebay in the past when i went to germany many years ago to there m,ain place in the black forrest, they told me then they had stopped making stuff for the xt1200 as it didn,t really sell well so there webb site for xt1200 got less and less, i see now they only list standard, and high, your right.
but yes the low seat was available years back

Thank you. Still trying to decide what I want to do. Just out of curiosity, how long was the wait time for your Laam?
