IDEEHO stones throw from the IBDR!!!
Good eye! Bike was in District 10 and the crispy tractor was west of Gridley.
I have a friend who's parents owned the Oregon House store IF you know where that is. He then lived in Sutter before buying a home, recently, in Browns Valley. I, also had a friend that lived in Chicago Park back in the day.I also drove a route truck way back in my youth up the Hwy80 Corridor up to Rainbow Lodge near Emigrant Gap Im, originally from Sactown so I know your stomping grounds well. Did quite a bit of ridding between my buddies place in Oregon House and Sierraville. Ever taken the road out of North SanJuan up through North Columbia onto Bowman lake then to Hwy 89???? If not that is a very fun run. You can then hit Hwy 89 south toward Truckee go left east through Stampede Res. and drop down into Verdi on into Reno. Pretty Fun!

Route 288 to Young AZ, and Forest roads on up to the Rim. Lots of elk tracks in the high country. Probably jumped the gun by a week or two. Still quite a bit of snow in shaded areas. Had to pull one bike out of a snowy ditch. We got to the end of the trail to find a Road Closed sign just on that end. Had a good laugh over that.

I've only ridden in that area once, when I did the AZBDR. I need to get back there; it was so spectacular around the Mogollon Rim

Yo Spud. You're talking my backyard for the last 35 years, my wife was born in Yuba City The Bowman Lake road has always been rough but is way worse than you remember these days. I'm 5 minutes from Chicago Park, went through there today...twice but sadly working and not riding. Not many roads around these parts I haven't ridden many, many times. A big reason why I like my S10 is the ability to explore the road less traveled (or paved) all over the western USofA.

Some really good riding out your way both on/off road! The cool thing is there are so many roads in Cali! Where I live now in SW Idaho there are very few paved roads BUT many dirtroad options.I live about 25 miles from where the IDBDR crosses hwy 21 near Lowman,ID. Ridden a lot of terrain in the Downieville area way before the whole Mtn. Bike era.Ever done the Chimney Rock Trail??? Not recommended for S10!!!I still have family down that way. My nephew owns a flooring company in Auburn and lives in Penn valley last I checked.

Went on a ride with some friends to Daytona Beach yesterday. Lots of bikes out there.....everyone is gearing up for Bike Week. We stopped at the RideNow dealer there to check out their HUGE inventory of new and used bikes. They had so much inventory there that they had to move some stuff around to make room for our 3 bikes. Beautiful sunny cool day in Florida....perfect riding weather!!!

. . . . Perfect weather here in Florida yesterday so I took a ride up route 13 towards Jacksonville and stopped at Riverdale Park . . . .
Do you know what type of park that is? In Texas the only ones with covers are the ones built by the Army Corp of Engineers. Our state parks have fire rings, but no cover.

I think it's just a regular recreation park along the St. John's River. The covered picnic tables are really nice. I like to stop there and take a quick break and socialize with other motorcyclists.

Oh Wow that is chilly for that time of the year. I haven't been to Salt Springs yet. How did you like it? Where did you stay when you were there?
