Welcome from a cold crisp Bedfordshire.

Tell us a bit more about your new steed, along with some riding history when you get a moment.

So, Frinton - it must be pretty handy being close the Harwich for the Continent. Sorry, I'll leave the room.

And frinton for the incontinent. I’ve only had the bike since the end of Dec. It’s an old one 2010 and high mileage but seems ok so far just put some rails and aluminium panniers on it and need to sort a toolbox out still. I had an old divvy that I took to about 87000 miles before I changed it. It’s nice to be back to shaft drive again after a coupe of chains. FZ1 and an f800r. Over to Poland through NL, Germany to Colditz again and Czechoslovakia via Harwich in July all being well to visit Aushcwitz then back through the Hartz mountains as they are great roads.

Hi rutto and welcome from sunny South Wales, sounds like you have the same love of Continental travel as me! Harwich is my favourite port and I regularly tour Germany and the Harz mountains and the Baltic coast. I like Poland and also Sweden and Denmark. I’ve got my ticket for Stena ready for May!
