Got mine today too. I'm also curious about how exactly they plan to 'bypass the defective wire lead connection'. Mine is a 2013 that I bought new in 2016 as a leftover. Has 20K miles on now.

The Scorpion EXO-AT950 modular has external peak, internal drop down sun visor, will accomodate bluetooth speakers, and comes in solids and some pretty cool hi-vis and camo colors for less than 300 bucks. I can confirm (as with the GT920) that the cheeks are a little tight until it breaks in...

Well, hell. The image links seem to work and break at random, like Google generates a random link each time you reference the image. The more time that passes, more and more image links break. Seems the links expire after some amount of time. I've tried on two different PCs, tablet, phone...

Ok, that was more effort than should be necessary, but done. ::008:: Good thing I'm a nerd. If anyone is interested in exactly how to link to Google Photos hosted images, let me know. I reduced the dimensions a bit too so they should fit most screens without scrolling.

OK, I did a 240 mile day on the new seat last Saturday and I can say conclusively that it is much better than stock, for me. For the first 1.5 hours I wasn't constantly thinking about the seat, and that's good. My main problem of numbness in legs and feet is solved. I experienced none at all...
