Ah, cool. My brother's down in Ft. Myers Beach, he and his wife have a restaurant on Sanibel...great area (except during the summer).

    Chicago Riders

Greetings, sold my GS and picked up a 2014 ES a couple weekends ago. I'm in Crystal Lake and was part of the founding group of CDSR (Kenbob is a friend of mine...but only got out once in the WR250R this year). Glad to see other Super-Ten riders in the area.

I'm in Crystal Lake, ride the Metra through Barrington daily. Liked Dan at Cycle Werks, but got tired of the Break My Wallet GS...picked up a super clean 2014 ES two weekends ago.

Just picked up a 2014 ES after selling my GS...and I'm on the east side of Crystal Lake very close to Cary.

WTB - AltRider Fork Leg Guards

I know highly unlikely, but if anyone's looking to see a pair of the AltRider guards I'm interested (have a 2014). Thanks, JP

WTB - One factory case liner/bag

Just picked up a sweet 2014 ES, but it only has one liner bag for the factory side cases. Looking to buy one if someone's selling. Thanks, JP

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out. Yeah, guessing I'd use the heated grips more that the suspension too. Could do aftermarket if needed fro a non-ES?

Ouch, two drive shafts and the clutches is enough. I had the dreaded ABS Module that was the only one which couldn't be refurbished. Cost me $2,100 just a year after getting the bike. That was really the beginning of the end for me, although I still rode 2 more years.

Wow, both sweet bikes. The fact you're 5 yrs in and still happy with the S10 makes me even more confident on the decision.

Great to hear you switched over from an '07 and don't miss much. (I won't miss the Cost of Ownership for sure.) Started riding with a Seca II and my WR250R has been a beast, so I also thought the S10 was a no-brainer.

Glad to see another ex-GSer here :) Money is part of the equation for sure...twin boys in college. Besides the some refinements and new features I've read the Gen 2s are more reliable? I was kinda factoring that part as the biggest reason for Gen 2, but not 100% sure it's true.

    2014 S10 for sale - Blue - IL - 20k miles $7500

Nice bike. Since it wasn't called out I'm assuming the non-ES model? Are you the 2nd or 3rd owner? Do you have maintenance records? Where do you have it serviced (I'm out in the far NW suburbs, have my WR250R sometimes done at the Woodstock dealership)?

Greetings, Been riding for 23+ years, had all Japanese bikes until buying my friend's high mileage '07 GS. Loved the bike, but don't have the stomach for the cost of ownership (Break My Wallet). Have a '07 WR250R that's been bulletproof under lots of abuse, deciding to get an S10 now and have...
