No issue mounting at all with stock lines but you will need to find a way to thread the ends for the bar end to bolt up. I used a nut that would barely fit in the end of the handle bar it needed to be hammered in with a mallet. You can also use some type of spanner bolt you can purchase for...

I think the bike tops at around an actual 130MPH.I have read 140MPH o the speedo with no luggage and 4 inches cut from the top of the stock screen.

You can take the speaker apart and solder them yourself. If you have not purchased yet then order the unit along with Torx speakers from Rocket Moto(highly recommended) he will have them soldered to the unit before sending it to you.

Those do look good on the Tenere and I have been thinking of grabbing a set cause they are a bargain. Have either of you layed the bike over to test them yet?

Awesome rode I hit it every trip down to Cali now and on the way up north through Big Sir. On the raising the forks I elected to raise the rear an inch with ADV dog bones, made a great improvement and added some ground clearance as well. No issues with stability all the up to 140 on the speedo :)

I would try just moving the grips and controls inboard first and test ride for awhile before cutting them cause once you commit there is no turning back :)

I drilled mine as well and was very easy to do without any problems. I have removed the pin on other bikes and hated it when the clamp shell would move on me so that is what made me decice to drill mine.

Try the Pro Taper "Raptor" bars. they mount with the stock lines no problem, are taller, and less back sweep to them. You will need to modify the ends for the brush gaurds but not a big deal.

Are you riding around in Tmode? I have a hard time believing that it is hard to pass anything with the Torq curve of the S10. I leave mine in 6th and pin the throttle ::26:: by the time I pass a semi truck I am well over a hundred MPH. You might need a Hyabusa.
