the super 10 fuel tank isn't that expensive actually. Looked it up on bikebandit.com it's around 380-450$ my R6 is over 600$. I may end up switching over to the altrider bars. Or modify the TT bars with more protection for the aggressive riding I do.

My buddy just got a drz400 so we went for a ride. Ended up on some tuff sections for the super 10. The tourtech bars took a beating on one of my get offs. My tank didn't fair to well the bars did well but I wonder if the altrider bars would have done a better job?

I might have, I can't exactly remember how I installed that specific bolt. If the nut is a locking type I don't use loctite. If I did use it. I only put a drop, hopefully I don't have any major difficulties if I ever remove it.

I've upped the tire pressure to 36 and reduced the rebound and compression by one click. The tire is looking fairly worn now. But we shall see how it goes. I'll report back in a couple weeks.

The tire is a TKC 70 from continental. It's actually an awesome tire by the way. My commute is mostly freeway. And I am also a bit aggressive rider. So it sounds like my tire isn't so bad. Good to know.

Just wondering if you guys think you see anything weird about my front tire. It's a bit hard to tell from the pictures, I have these area's that are wearing a lot faster than the rest of the tire. I do a lot of freeway riding, about 80 miles a day. What do you think?
