I'm thinking that I want it a fuzz higher in the front, and wider, and also wider in the back. Also - the rear of the seat needs to be "dished" in the middle. Looks like the Corbin seat is like this. If I were taller, I could just have someone add additional foam to the top and sides and dish...

I needed a horn for my '73 R75 and happened onto a round variety at O'Reilly's auto parts store. It's very loud and ten bucks. I think I'll try one on this Tenere.

The U.S. octane 92 (R+M)/2 is the same as 97 octane (R) in many European countries... including Australia. As for me, mine was purchased new in late November 2012 and now only showing 5,000 miles. I find that fuel mileage is increased on 87 over the 91 octane fuel. So far, no spark knock...

OK, maybe you're right. Still, it just annoys the s**t out of me that they do that.

I'm 5'9" and went with the National Cycle VStream windshield, in the lower position. It helped, but still a lot of buffeting. Added the Yamaha side deflectors and that helped quite a bit.

My last three automobiles were spot on with the GPS on the speedometer and within 1% on the odometer. My two Harleys are spot on. Go figure. I don't know about the auto's before that, as I did not own a GPS unit. It still amazes me that this is 2013 and the metric bikes can have a speedometer...
