I've been riding motorcycles for nearly 40 years, having started out on an used Z50 that my oldest brother bought for me. Being a farm kid, I rode almost daily while doing typical farm chores and occasionally getting into trouble with the neighbors. Mainly I liked seeing what was over the horizon and although I was a kid on a dirt bike, back then I could ride for miles on back roads just seeing what was out there.
That's what I still like to do best when time permits, which isn't often enough.
