I bought an Icon Variant about a year and half ago. Loved it until about a year in, a squeak developed at speed where the peak attached to the helmet. Then I went to change the visor when one of the main screws holding the peak to the visor snapped flush in the hole rendering a $350 helmet...

I went with the 31 and 38L setup. I wanted the narrower setup for lane splitting reasons and to keep me from packing too much crap. Installation was straight forward and very easy.

Maybe try this? /http://mag-knight.com/ Magnetic and you can buy a sheet, cut to fit and heat to conform.

It's happened to me both on the Strom and the Tenere. I just figured it was the helmet which is an Icon Variant and my English beak. Maybe it's the way the wind enters through the bottom of the helmet and filters through a beard??? It's damn annoying though. :mad:

I came over from a Wee. I have no complaints for the Wee except after 300 mile days, I couldn't wait to get off the bike at the end of the day. I just felt wasted and my butt hurt from the stock saddle and extended 75 mph highway stretches seemed to wear me down and I felt like I was thrashing...

+1 I feel the same way about the Progressive show in Long Beach. I guess they're just supposed to smile and hand you a brochure. I agree the booth people are a different story.......well informed and friendly. Of course they want me to walk out with some of their product......which I did.
