    New to the Super10

2015 : Candy Red, Matte Silver ES Model -> Candy Red, Matte Silver (in Canada only) I believe this is accurate (source). I think Sierra is correct about the blue rims being about 2019... I'd recently read they were the first of the improved spoke mount ridge rims.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Gave the AltRider crash bars a refresh. They were actually looking pretty good for their age. They are stainless and factory finished in black... a couple of gravel chips but not many. It looked like sanding, priming, and paint would be a real PITA and I suck at painting so I had them powder...

    Need Help in North Carolina

Maybe find someone in NC or Southwestern Virginia to do a fly and ride on your behalf?

    Fork Seal Leaking

    Oooo that's a neat idea.

    GVRW assistance please

Agree, but that cuts both ways. If you are in an accident with another vehicle, and you are over GVWR, better hope the other driver doesn't have a good lawyer.

If it is performing 100% I'd run it.

I have a 2023 Super Tenere, the owner's manual says 91 octane fuel?

Many / most in US are like these two. Pump on the right also dispenses diesel which is always its own nozzle. All flavors of unleaded are dispensed by one nozzle.

    A deer near miss

Yes! As soon as I see one cross in front of me I look at where it came from, not where it went. There's usually another one coming along. For me it's a learned thing to not fixate on deer #1. Deer (usually) keep going in one direction (unlike squirrels that can't make up their mind in the...

Removing the caps on the bolts for the handle bar.

Fingernail or plastic wedge at the seam/edge just below the convex head. They are smaller than you think.

New member with questions. Thank you!

If looking for a Gen1, I'd ask the seller if the clutch basket and CCT have been upgraded. While subjective, I couldn't go back to a non cruise control bike for any kind of distance riding, and heated grips extend my season.

Getting on and off a S10

I've thought the same! I feel like I bend my right leg up like a chicken wing, then twirl like a ballerina on the ball of my left foot. Right foot clears the OEM saddlebags and a smallish Pelican box where the pillion seat should be.

2024 Mirror Broken (Courtesy of a Deer)

I don't know for a fact that the mirrors changed (or didn't) during the Gen2 run... but I'd be surprised if they did. I don't think part number changes always indicate functional changes to the part. I think they could indicate things like a different vendor, etc.

    FRUSTRATING CRUISE CONTROL VARIABILITY

Is this a new leftover 2023? If so, I'd just take it back to the dealer. Wonder if dealer setup involves handlebars or anything. Otherwise, I think you need to isolate if the brake light is on all the time due to front or rear brake lever. Then go from there. I like Ventura Jeff's thoughts...

where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

I often watch your Relives. I had the free version some time ago but somehow got away from it. It's great for a summary review when the recipient doesn't care about coordinates, GPX files, points, or other technical mapping info. I think it is ideal for sending to non-motorcycle family...
