I see you are from the Netherlands, from what I remember, the stock European map is much better than the stock USA map, so for you, there might not be such a big difference if any. I still don't understand why the European bikes sold in the USA have much better ECU fueling than the Japanese...
It does improve the bike's performance significantly. The S mode is more more powerful and more rideable and the T mode is more powerful. I didn't enjoy riding the S mode, since it was so sensitive, but now it is manageable.
