Okay I'm Midway through putting this thing on it was hell getting the spacer through the center stand on the Springside but finally got it. Now I'm seeing the center stand bolt on the left side of the bike doesn't appear that it will clear the exhaust coming out. Am I wrong?

yeah im going to get a heat gauge to check it, as well as my Concours 14. My concern was that because of lowering the C10, it may have created undue stress on the final drive.

I tried searching for threads on the subject unsuccessfully.I changed the final drive oil, used recommended Valvoline viscosity, and measured quantity. After riding 50 miles, I noticed the final drive housing / swing arm were quite hot. Too hot to keep a hand on for long. I dont think I ever...

I read that you can remove the bolts not totally, but just enough to drop the plate without the center stand coming off. HAs that been the case for you? I assume that you are using the side stand to do the job.

Hmm, looks like to change the oil, it would be necessary to remove the center stand bolts, which hold the rear of the plate. am I correct?
