Gents: I'm interested in the back rest. Recent disc bulge is requiring added support. Can purchase from either of you if not intending to use.
Thank you, Steve
Tenman. Mucha Gracia for the link. Appears this item requires mount over the pass seat. This doesn't seam helpful if mounted that far back-i must not understand correctly. Do you have one? If so, can we chat ?
WTB Back Rest for 2013 S10 (Operator not for passenger); Appears this can be mounted using the passenger seat bolts, when passenger seat not used. Appreciate any leads.
Many thanks,
Now to change the tstat on 2013 yst. I don't have a manual, but thread indicates it's not much help anyway. If anyone can post a screenshot of any truly helpful info I would appreciate. Great Day!
Cylinder came out today when I attempted to open top box. With Cylinder in hand I returned home, and applied locktite to all locks. This can be a no-kidding prob on a trip, now I'm a believer. Recommend doing it now-only takes about half a beer.
Full load, though I hesitate to say overkill. I've weighed them, 4 bags at 35lbs ea ironically. No noticeable head wind. Could be a little conservative on speed, could be more like 75 avg. I am truly surprised, will not happen again.
Thanks all for offers to assist. I95 Jax FL. Actuals=5.8 gals to fill it. 205.6 mis by trip. 2013 st w about 25k mis. Runs very well. 3 boxes + duffle each gross 35lbs + 200lb rider. Avg likely 70mph. Bonus tip: check your generic key cut by a true smith to ensure it opens your gas cap...
It is a bumper to keep the fairing and frame from rubbing against the gas tank. After rotating tank up, looks closely beside tank for hole where bushing resides.
