I've had no luck with extended warranties or service plans. My experience is that they take my money and sit on it then look for any excuse to deny service. The seller has all the power. No more. I'll keep the money myself and take my chances!

I use clear hockey tape for many chaffing situations like that. Aircraft have numerous points like that with lots of vibration so I use it there. I replace it every year or two.

I had a Seat Concepts seat on a Kawasaki Versys. It came with the bike so I never rode it with the stock seat. It was wonderful! I miss it. More comfy than the stock seat on the S10. I think it did raise the seat height from stock.

I was wondering the same thing! I'm disappointed in the corrosion resistance of the spokes. One winter, stored in a dry building, some rusting!
