    Vinyl wrapping tank

I did consider a tank ring mounted bag, but the only issue was where to put it while fueling. Magnetic ones can be placed elsewhere on the tank and the zipper one like I posted can be flipped up.

I ordered the XPEL gloss total protection kit. I'm not sure if I will use every bit of it but it's nice to have the options. I do have the nice yellow paint on the 60th Anniversary and want to keep it looking good for a long time since it looks so eye catching.

Thank you all for the replies! I really like the total protection kit from The Tankslapper. I will probably get that one.

And there's light! (I still haven't aimed them yet...) I took the harness that I had made for the Versys apart and resoldered it for the Super Tenere. This is what it had looked like on the Versys (I tapped into the headlight using an H4 extension): One harness was extended and one was...

I'm assuming the "wet suit" thing would cover up the tank? I don't want to cover the yellow! :p

    Vinyl wrapping tank

I've just bought a 2016 Super Tenere and would like to get a tank bag. I'm specifically looking at a Giant Loop Moto Fandango tank bag: They specifically say to protect the tank so the bag doesn't scuff up the paint: Has anyone clear vinyl wrapped the entire tank? It's a weird shape and I...

If it happens to this one, then I know that it was my fault! Though to be fair, I had done all the maintenance on the Versys as well, but I had bought it at 32k miles so I'm not sure how it was maintained before that. This Super Tenere only has 14k miles on it. Awesome! I'm also in the Almaden...

That's awesome! My Kawasaki Versys dropped a valve at 50k miles and it was not pretty.

Hi! I just bought a 2016 Super Tenere yesterday. My brother and I drove 6 hours to get the bike and I rode it home the same day. I'm loving it so far and am hoping to get a lot of mileage out of it! I've already started with some small mods, like 3D printing a small bracket to mount my cell...
