After trying to get more power on my bike i decided to sell it and change to a more sporty one.
I also never use the bike off road . that is another good reason for selling it .

What i m asking is about rebound damping not preloaded adjustment .
When accelerate the bike tend to squat. More weight more squatting . What should i do do compensate ? higher rebound damping ?
I was wondering if the lacking of a correct rear rebound setting may give me a sensation of not enough power on first gear 2 UP .
Should i increase or decrease the rear rebound damping if i ride with my wife ?

It s not question of speed . Not sure how to explain . it s the effort to get there . When i use to cruise with my wife on yamaha raider , it s was easy and relaxing . no need of keep changing gears . with connie was the same . with S10 it s a constant changing gears to find...
i never drove a different adventure bike. i use to have the Super tenere 750 almost 20 years ago .
My last bike was a Concours 14 . never felt any difference with all the saddlebags full and my wife on it .
I thought that $15K 1200 cc bike 100lb lighter could be enough .
I change exhaust , i flash the ECU , i added the power commander , bit still thinking that there is not enough power when driving together with my wife .
I m 240lb and my wife only 120 .
Anything else i can do ?

While mounting the gps on the bar, noticed something odd today. The left side fork appears to sit higher by 1mm, compared to the right side fork.
Should i bother ? or it s normal ?
