Running just fine at that altitude. As a matter of fact I passed just about every car on my way uphill . Coolant temp never exceeded 88 C . Downhill I slowed down quite a bit. Since it started raining / snowing.

This is the third trip to the Pamirs in 2019. Ak-Baital Pass, one of the highest passes in the world, which can be driven by transport.

After a quick lunch and a picture for the moto-tag page in Cle Elum, we headed back towards Ellensburg on Upper Peoh Point Rd to get to W Taneum Rd which is on the other side the mountain ridge just south of Cle Elum. We got about 5 miles up the road to Crystal Mtn before being blocked with snow at about 3600 ft elevation. We tried a couple of other roads and they were blocked off miles back from the entrance until further notice. There are many forest service roads in this area just waiting to be explored.
After passing this one campground entrance going thru the river I decided to go back and take a picture. My Buddy's 800 BMW decided to take a nap in the very loose gravel during his turnaround.
This was the drive thru park entrance that was blocked.
The water looked inviting, but the outside temps were only in the low to mid 50f range. My Buddy said the bottom is concrete and slippery.
We went down the road to the walk in entrance and rode across the bridge. Really nice campground.
Saw these guys on another side road that was really steep going up, but didn't seem that way on the way down. That could be because we had to turn around on a yet steeper section farther up the road. They were still in the area on our way back down.
I really enjoy the different rock formations left over from the lava flows.
This is on the way home thru the Yakima river canyon. The green of the grass and the black rock is impressive.

Quick ride this morning through southern Arizona wine country. Unseasonably cool for this time a year, 135 miles of some superslab, mountain twisties and blue highway . Bluetooth music and saddle therapy all this and home by 9:00am.
