Hey folks
Just picked up a new to me 2013 Super Tenere with a few nice features, bark busters, tank bags, led spotlight.
Low mileage at just 22,000km.
Amazing shape really, appears as if it had never left the pavement.
I added Continental TKC 70/30 tires, the tires the previous owner had on it were pure highway tires, I wanted something a little more aggressive for off road.

I also put a deposit on a 2023 Tenere 700, of course it will be around a year or so until I see this bike, but at least I'm first in line. The plan is to ride the 2013 ST for a year and see if I enjoy it, if so, perhaps keep it, or trade it on the 2023 T700.

Looking forward to posting more trip pics/videos and seeking advice here.

Some of my other bikes include a 2020 HD Sportster 1200 Iron, a 1974 Yamaha TX500, a 1983 Yamaha XS400.

Thanks,
AddyRuckus

Welcome, from Texas. With that mileage, it hardly left the garage let alone pavement.

I know, I had been searching all winter for an Africa Twin, a T700, an ST, and even KLR's. I especially had been looking at KLR's for a while, but my 6'3" 250lb frame would just put that little thumper to the grave. My bike is being stored at the dealer until the snow melts, I will be taking and posting detailed pictures when it arrives. About 30 days now. Can't wait. Hope to ride down to Texas this summer.

The KLR is a good bike for what it is. I was kinda expecting just a bigger version of the KLR with the Tenere. Pleasant surprise. Biggest issue with the KLR, to me, is it's thirst for oil when you keep the speed at 75mph or more. The Tenere just loses a couple of mpgs.

yes, exactly. I wanted a stable bike at speed, as I already have a Sportster for ripping town and shorter trips.
