More like "Bring Out The Gimp!"It reminds me of a wetsuit, or leather jacket.
I got the brake switch recall completed today. Never had any trouble with it, but better safe than sorry.
I think all 2nd Gen (2014 +) are affected. Thanks for the reminder. I need to take in my 900 Tracer GT sometime soon. Received the recall a while back but I totally forgot. I'm not sure if my Super Tenere is affected but I should call on that on Monday and make sure since I bought the bike used.
To my knowledge they're still tying it to VIN batches. I checked when it was first announced, mine wasn't in there. A couple weeks back a friend checked again for me, and it was. Yamaha is updating the lists, but I'm not sure they did a blanket recall announcement yet. All of us here know that they're all wonky. It's just getting Yamaha to admit it that's going to take longer.I think all 2nd Gen (2014 +) are affected.

Potato, potato. They may be doing it that way to manage the parts supply and dealer traffic.

Fun scars.Replaced a well used brush guard. Too cheap to upgrade to Barkbusters. OEM was ~$25.

Great you did it, I have heard that after you bleed the brakes many will cycle the ABS, why is that? is it needed to have the ABS cyled? what will happen if you do not cycle it? Regards to all.Installed Speed Bleeders for brakes and clutch, bled and cycled ABS, and bled again. Also flushed and replaced rad coolant. The tutorials on the forum are awesome! Really helps to get things done the proper way. Thanks to those who provide these “how to do”!
