I Purchased a SENA PRISM TUBE WIFI CAMERA recently and I'm using the clamp on mount (to my helmet). which comes with the camera. I don't use it for vlogging and it's a camera only with no two way communication. Although Sena does sell other models that communicate with other Sena video cameras.
It's a great little camera that captures your ride in amazing colour and resolution.
Once you get your head around using it, I find it is very user friendly. It simply turns on and off by pulling the front of the camera fore and aft.
It does have a built in battery, but it's limited to only one hour of recording on a cold day and two hours on a warm day.
No problem as I bought a power pack (10,000ma) and then the camera will run continously all day. It has a micro sd card capacity of 64gb. I run a 32 gb, cause I happened to have one and I can get up to 3 to 4 hours of recording time.
The reason for having this camera (for me that is) for use as a "silent witness" in the event I needed it.
I really don't care what happened an hour ago unless of course there was an incident. I have my camera set to record video at 30 fps and 1440p.
I have it set to "loop" so when the micro sd card is full it just continues recording over the oldest footage on the chip card.
(Take that Gopro)
For the price paid (on sale now in Canada at Fort 9 for $169.95 + taxes its a bargain.
Sena support as been extremely helpful.
Anyone else out there with this camera???
