Grumpy,I fitted the Denali SoundBomb Mini as it's plug and play to the existing fitting (who at Yamaha thought that moped squeeker was fit for a Tenere?) It's 113 db and is plenty for riding in town traffic. For fast highway riding safety you need to be seen as you are rarly heard.
Hi, sorry just got on site. I used the original bracket and wireing.Grumpy,
Would you mind posting a pic of how your Denali SoundBomb Mini looks when installed in the OEM horn location?
Did you use the bracket that is supplied with the SoundBomb mini?
Just picked up a SoundBomb Mini yesterday and would like to install today.
Thanks,
MFP
Thanks for the pics. I did a temp install with the Denali soundbomb mini and and when I plug it in the horn did not work, switched the plugs (according to the Denali instructions polarity does not matter) and still no horn. Plugged in the OEM horn and it worked fine.Hi, sorry just got on site. I used the original bracket and wireing.

Is there any sound at all when you press the horn button?Any ideas or is the actual Denali just defective?
1. Could be a defective horn. Denalis work or they don't and they seem to sell a lot of duds. Thanks for the pics. Ignition was switched on and even started the bike up.

On a previous bike I went to a self-service junkyard and got an excellent horn off a small Isuzu truck. It was easily as loud as one of those Fiamm pancake horns which sell for $40. They charged me $1.50 (iirc) and another $1.50 for a relay after letting me try the horn on a battery at the edge of their garage. If I'd taken one of those small 12V lithium jumper batteries I could've tested it in the truck.Hi. Do you have part number?
I do not have it, because I bought it at cars disassembly, from a truck like mine, with 3000 miles, with a side impact, for u$ 10 both, they are Denso, and the numbers in the claxon ar of Denso, not Toyota parts. I see they are in almost all the Toyota the same, some with Horns, others not, but the horns are removable . They have a small screw to regulate the tone, but they come H / Low already regulated of factory. the only thing that does not come plug'n, the (-) goes in the screw, not in the plugHi. Do you have part number?
LOLI guess I showed HIM my menus!
