Hell no!! One documented Iron Butt on a dirt bike is enough for me!! Lately I have been enjoying long mile rides on the pavement through places I always wanted to check out. After doing mega miles on both my Beta and Ninja 650R, the Super Tenere is a TREAT!! Super duper comfortable for long days in the saddle.@chris - Yes, the dustybutt is a very tough ride! Now get up and do it again, and again, and again for 10-11 days. While going to obscure places and performing tasks that take you all over the country and require reading comprehension and constant documentation.
IMHO anything under 48 hours coast to cost is amazing!!I remain unimpressed by his 'feat' because I know what it takes to do it. It's simply not that hard.
Just don't stop. The normal cert is 50 hours or less. Over 100 people have documented doing the 50CC Gold, many well under 48 hours, but the cert never states how long, only within the 50 hours allotted. Many do a BBG, grab some sleep and continue on to finish for the standard 50CC. The 50CC Gold, (NY to SF or reversed), is about 400 miles longer and more challenging. Still do-able in under 48 while allowing 4-6 hours of sleep in the middle.IMHO anything under 48 hours coast to cost is amazing!!

How about we do a Boulder City NV to State Line off road Cannonball run!! I actually did just that in the 90's. That was one of the most epic off road rides ever! My buddy was on a KLR 650 and me on my XR 600. The highlight of the ride was coming across this "temporary" cattle ranch deep in some canyon. The guy had a few dozen cattle and lived in a small travel trailer. We also came across part of the old original Barstow To Vegas race course from the 70's.Easy enough to merge them

I agree. It used to take me 31 hours just to get from my house to Kittery Maine. Of course that was back when 55 mph was the speed limit. But, it was bad enough in a car; can't imagine it on two wheels.37 hours coast to coast is impressive! Not my cup of tea, but impressive none the less.
