Had a request before Christmas for a few of the alluminum dash shelfs and these are left over from that build. They have stainless screws and are primed ready for the colour coat of your choice. Might be a little easier for those that don't have access to a metal brake which makes building them much easier. Fits 12-13 models. $25.00 and shipping by mail to the US usually runs around $10.00 depending who is at the till at the post office ::).
PM if interested.

Does it go around the power outlet or do have to drill a hole for it.

It goes around the outlet. That's why the top right corner of these things has an inverted corner.

Didn't think there would be that much interest. All 4 have sold at this point and if any of the sales don't go through I will post them back up.

The screws are long enough for the OEM wind deflectors but the outside screw mounting plate would have to be trimmed down a bit to fit the curve of the wings.
The rubber trim on the curved edge was just some I had leftover from another project and isn't necessary, just finishes it off a bit more. Bernie

Glad I got in on time paypal sent. I have been farkeling the bike this winter and quickly learned how little space there is to mount anything on the fairings. I did not know this solution existed prior to your post. Can't wait to install it.

Are you looking at any remakes for us with a 14 model
The dash shelf pattern was made for the 12-13 bikes and doubt full it would fit the 14+ models without some modifications. If I get a chance to get a pattern made off of a 14+ I may be able to make a few for the new model.

Ha! good to see someone finally mass produced some.
I made about 6 when I first made mine, and gave the extras out at the Ouray gathering.
I like the cut around the power port.
Make more!

What/how did you paint the shelf? It appears to blend well, better than the example I posted above.

I've used this product on a few projects and always been pleased with the results. For the dash shelf I used the satin black case and barrel paint. You can also put the item if its metal, in an oven on low heat for an hour or so to speed up the cure if needed. Its also kind of a universal touch up paint for everything black on a Tenere also. ::008::

I know the picture is wrong(it's for silver and not black), but is this the stuff you're referring to?

Same description as the other can from PJ1s site , 16-SAT so I'm sure it would be fine.
Another one I have used for other small parts is the PlastiKote #215, low gloss black engine enamel. A bit of heat to speed up the curing and it would work good. Really, any decent quality satin black auto grade paint would do the job.
