Zumo XT Question

I bought a Zumo XT last weekend and it's great, I didn't have any issues connecting it to my Huawei phone and headset but I've noticed in most review videos that there are 2 connections shown in the Zumo, one for the phone and a separate one for Smartphone Notifications, I don't have the second one showing, does anyone else have this? It could be something specific to iPhone and not shown on Android but I'm not sure, I'm getting nowhere when I try to Google the answer!

Yes, there are two separate connections. It should show or highlight the icons on the XT if they are active connections.
One is for the phone itself.
The other one is for the "Garmin Drive" app.
Having this app active while your phone is connected to the XT will send traffic alerts, weather alerts, and also text-messages and messenger alerts to your XT while you ride.
I use iphone, but it says that the app is also available for Android 6.0 or higher users.
Download and run it on your phone.

Cheers Skunkworks, I've got the Drive App and have the symbol on the top of the Zumo screen to show its connected. I can get traffic and weather radar so its pulling data from Garmin drive but I'm not getting smartphone notifications, if I'm honest I'm not that bothered but I just want to check it all works as it should.

I have the XT and no problems getting notifications. Have you checked the notification menu on the XT to make sure it is on? Also, with your phone, have you checked and made sure you have not restricted the messages from going to the XT. Simple, but first things I would double check.

Helimark do you use Android on iPhone? I've paired and repaired these two so many times now I've lost count, also deleted and reinstalled the Drive app but still no luck.
