Yet another seat thread

I just did a VIP ride-in custom saddle at Bill Mayer Saddles, conveniently located right here in Ventura. Only have a dozen miles or so on it but next weekend's ride to Laguna Seca should prove or disprove it. Luckily, they'll modify it for free if it's not right. They do caution to allow 1000-1500 miles break-in though. That seems to be a common recommendation across different saddle companies.

That seat sure looks good, did they use your old seat pan to build this one ? How long did it take ?

I cut down the plastic seat bracket (the hi/lo thing) so it doesn't matter what seat I use.

Can you explain how you cut it down/what tools used and maybe send a photo?

This sounds like a good option and I have an extra plastic bracket seat thing to use in case I mess it up.
