Sorry to hear about the attitude there in Illinois. I guess it could be a regular spot where just bikes park.


As for stilt buildings, I thought it'd be a "gimme" for all the folks living near the coast, next to rivers, or swamplands. Lots of houses are on stilts or pilings.

So just a clarification on this. Does it have to be a specific designated motorcycle parking area? Or can it be just an area where a bunch of motorcycles have parked? Unfortunately Illinois is not very progressive and I don't think I have ever seen designated motorcycle only parking anywhere.

Head over to the Costco Wholesale in Naperville. Costco almost always has a dedicated motorcycle parking area with signs. Close enough to you that if I'm wrong, not much time wasted. And they have good hot dogs. ;D

I have been there, but have not noticed motorcycle parking. That is probably because I am always driving my truck! The S10 makes a decent grocery getter, but I buy way too much crap at Costco to take it.

I will have to look harder next time I am by one.

Which radar detector are you using there?
Nice to see another 2017 Cobalt Blue out and about!

I’m fine with a flag being painted on a wall or barn, I’d prefer a American flag or the ....Confederate

The radar detector I’m using is Escort Redline mounted on a Adaptiv-Tech mount on the cross bar.
Connected to this detector is Screamer alarm with an on-off switch, very helpful when wearing earplugs or being in traffic.
