Last Saturday I took Stridey and Ming (KTM!) On one of my Tiger Tourrs trips around the WWII Historical sites around Cornwall...

I can hear you ask already... WWII sites in Cornwall...!!

Well the first one was someones house at the end of the main runway at Newquay Airport (Formerly RAF St Mawgan)... Called Spitfire Corner, the reason being the owner of the cottage has a WWII Spitfire re-built (But non operational) In his front garden! Along with a cockpit from a Canberra and a Merlin engine.

The owner told us he actually owns 2!! One being in museum up North..

The guys name is Barry Wallond.. He served in the RAF then worked as a civilian engineer at Newquay airport... He came out and kindly moved his exhibition trailer and car so we could get better pictures. the guys an amazing artist and can draw some amazing aircraft.

We then head North to Davidstowe Airfield.. among other things holding Cornwalls only Formula 1 motor race..!!

Stridey and Ming had a giggle belting down the runways which are full of gravel and holes... Most would bury a bike!!! But Ming kept him safe as we've belted up and down them many a time.

there's also a great RAF museum at the site, well worth a visit.. and also a cheese factory .. hence some unusual sniffs!

That is so cool would have loved to have gone on that ride. Glad you boys were not behind me riding through the Gospel Pass in the Brecons lost it completely twice on the mud no control whatsoever only stayed on because of the traction control which kept pushing me on.

As you have experienced the bike "off road" style and survived your qualified for more slippery stuff on the Welsh based Tenere Experience in Spring next year! I'll post something up later on this once I spoken to them today.
