If you know of a good deal on a new one or if you''re considering upgrading your favorite summer riding jacket, please shoot me a message. I'm looking for: super breathable, not black in color and generally a size medium to large.

It's a challenge to find a good deal on something with decent protection, (or at least to your comfort level), and not black. I just bought an Olympia Alpha Mesh Tech Jacket for $189, but only color options were slate and lodon, (sort of dark green/brown depending on the vendor).

Moving to mesh for the South's humidity. Still, I liked having a under/over rain liner. My Klim jacket is ready for a new home, though still functional. Looking for the size you want in the close outs can also be challenging. Unless you're an XS! :D I'm an XL so in the more popular range that gets sold out before the stuff makes it to the close out sites.

It might help if you clarify your budget range and if you want mesh, or a summer jacket with venting, etc.

cycle port (moto port) kevlar mesh in gray or hi viz
I.E. Gear more expensive then Klim or Aerostich, excluding the extreme outfits. ;) I don't think anyone will ever find a "good deal" on new Motoport gear. Great quality/protection. Same limitations as all mesh gear when it rains.

I’ve had a British Motorcycle Gear Adventure jacket for years and has held up fairly well. I think better than the Cycle Gear built brand.

While a bit pricey give the Klim Induction jacket a look-see.
You can justify the price a bit as the Induction comes fully kitted with
CE Level 1 armor in the shoulders, elbows and the back and there are some nice colorways to choose from.
**Yes, I am indeed a Klim fanboy.
