Just picked up a new 2012, and looking to outfit it with some hard cases. If anyone has a set of rear racks they are selling please let me know.

Do all of the Jesse brackets have a left side offset for the exhaust? I'm looking for something symmetrical to mount pelican cases.

Yes, all Jesse racks are off set so the top of the boxes are equal to the center-line. Symmetrical racks will push the right side luggage out the same distance the muffler pushes the left rack. Gives a nifty place to hang 'stuff' behind the right rack. You can go asymmetrical where the right side rack is tight to the center-line, that's where the right hand luggage is usually bigger to give a 'balanced' look from the rear. Not sure that will work with Pelicans or not.

You may want to look at Caribou Cases. They use Pelicans as the box, and make the racks and mounts necessary.

Thanks, I checked that out. At $350-400 for just the racks, it really makes the former KLR owner within me cringe a little bit. I've made my own rack before, just hoping to avoid wasting a weekend grinding, welding, and painting. Also, I see the Tenere as a 'nicer' bike, and feel like it deserves a better life than one of my previous frankenbike creations.
