Yes definitely a different model Tenere, that’s one of the reasons I posted about it, i wasn’t even aware they were making that model.
His border crossing troubles were interesting.
I enjoyed looking at all his pictures.
At one time I was very interested in traveling like that but only if I had someone along that knew how to speak the language, these days I would not be very interested in attempting something like that because of health issues, there’s still plenty for me to do in the USA and Canada .

Yam began building 660s in 2008 but never sold them in the US. I rode one in Europe and it's too bad because they are a LOT nicer than a KLR. They would have been too expensive for the US market.
