Just a note to say how happy I am with the flash done by Wiz Performance in the UK. Sent the ECU off for programming to be returned within 3 days. £140 and worth every penny, it makes the bike behave much better. Wish I had had it done when I bought the bike brand new in 2016.

Just out of curiosity did they ask you to disconnect the lambda sensors?

I disconnected and removed mine as the Wiz flash disables the function. Pointless leaving them on. Bought some cheap blanking bolts off eBay.

I also had an ECU flash from Wiz recently and its made a huge difference to the useabilty/rideabilty of the bike.........BUT I'm not sure your statement that the Lambda's are disabled is correct? I spoke to Wiz at the time and they suggested leaving the Lambda's connected and allow them to do their job - but they can be disconnected to see if it smooths things out more - perhaps if your running Arrow de-cat headers for example.

I had a look at the Wiz website. The description of what they do states "disable the closed loop". I took this to mean the lambda sensor circuit?

When I ordered the ECU flash on their website I also ordered two of the blanking caps for the Lambda connectors into the wiring loom.
When I spoke to Dave, aka Grant a few days later, he suggested leaving the Lambda's connected.
He said some people have disconnected them due to still having some on/off fuelling in certain cconditions - perhaps when cat removed.
I have left mine connected and so far all fuelling seems superb - but I've only done 300 miles so far - I will maybe do a test with them disconnrcted in the summer and compare the running and fuel consumption - maybe?
Phone Dave at Wiz and ask him to clarify?

Might be a daft or obvious question, but where is the ecu and how hard/easy is it to remove? Thinking of taking it with me next time I visit the MIL and dropping it into Wiz as she’s only up the road from him.
