wireless charging is, all things considered, more or less 50% efficient. Not the most environmentally conscious route to device charging agreed, but It does provide a rainproof method to charge a compatible device.
Using wireless charging can make connection fatigue and cable management problems of the past.
Some years ago after reading recommendations on advrider I purchased a used Verizon Kyocera Duraforce Pro with the intention of using it for 911 calls and for gps mapping location. I attached it to a newly purchased Perfect Squeeze fastened to the Madstad crossbar, connected a usb cable when needed, and Robert was my mothers brother.
Do cables work? Yes, better without rain? oh yeah. The Duraforce Pro is waterproof until the charging port cover is open. Is wireless charging way more convenient? Well yeah.
Fast forward to two weeks ago when in a moment of weakness I purchased a Perfect Squeeze Juicer Upgrade. I don't know what became me, forgiveness please, I'm usually a might thrifty.
Rather than continue with the commercial like rhetoric here are a few pics:

I am familiar with potting, with injection moulding, with transfer moulding, etc. The scratchy lines in the image above are not knit lines. It looks like superficial cosmetic damage to the finished surface of the mould cavity face.
No biggie. No reason to doubt the device integrity. It's cosmetic, not a functional defect.

That is 0.54 amps displayed and measured on a free meter.
The Juicer is advertised as a V2 charging unit capable of supplying 10 watts. The Duraforce Pro phone is claimed to be QI capable and it is, but I can't find an actual spec in my Kyocera literature. I can only guess based on date of mfg.
The phone battery as measured is not fully discharged and the state of charge may influence the rate of charge. W=E*I. 12.3*.54=6.64. Not 10 but definitely more than 5 (the Juicer V1). and then my meter may suck too.

The Juicer Upgrade as shown above mounts in the same basic space as the non juicer, at least in my example. Yeah, like most of us it is a bit fatter than last years model. Again, no biggie.
The posts make the same basic rectangle and the same overall post height is retained from the phone resting surface, so the same phone won't know the difference.
There can be found a Hondo Garage video on the youtube depicting and explaining the entire upgrade process. It's simple, painless and straightforward.

Like Uncle Jed often said when marveling at technology, "Weee doggie!"
Three days standard shipping from Montana to Rhode Island. The unit is installed and I haven't even seen the credit card statement yet. What a country!
I have no skin in the game other than a purchase, just a retail customer willing to share the experience.
Keep in mind, we live in an imperfect world, so your experience may vary.
All the best.
