Any one find a source being US based to find replacements. I switch windshields somewhat often and seem to have torn one.

I'm not having much luck. Looking at the part on partszilla is a wellnut c-55ol but not finding a cost efficient supplier. Don't really want to pay 3-4 bucks for a .25 cent item.

They are a standard hardware item. Multiple sources online, just make sure you check the size (This may or may not be the size you need.)
Specialty hardware stores might carry them too, if you have something like an ACE or Truvalue, you could buy individuals rather than bulk

I would check with my local Yamaha dealer they very likely would have it in stock and if they don’t and have to order it there wouldn’t be any shipping charge.

I was looking for replacements a while back and my local Yamaha dealers could not order them and did not have any in stock. I bought some cheap Chinese versions on Amazon and they didn’t last long. They fell apart with vibrations from gravel and dirt road riding. Also the shoulders were very thin compared to the OEM part. I couldn’t find good metric replacements, so I just bought the SAE version from Lowe’s along with the matching SAE screws. The well nuts are made in Taiwan and are higher quality than anything I found on Amazon. They also have that nice thick shoulder like the OEM well nuts. Fit seems to be perfect. They mushroomed and expanded much better than the cheap Chinese ones. They have worked fine so far.
