I should have mentioned in my last post that those we know that caught Covid after vaccination either had mild or no symptoms at all. I know a couple people that caught the original or maybe delta variant that were unvaccinated (before any of them were available), two of them died and a couple more are still dealing with long term effects of Covid.

Those long-term effects of the infection are real, seen with my own eyes, as opposed to any theoretical long-term effects of the vaccine.

Do the critical thinking and make your choice.

NC today, TN very soon
Was playing golf today. One of the guys in the foursome says "Yeah, I get the J&J shot, developed blood clots as a result, and almost died from a pulmonary embolism. I was in the ICU for a week, and now the medical bills are almost $250K." If the chance of getting blood clots from the J&J shot are .001%, it's sure amazing that I keep bumping into people it happened to.

In retrospect do any of you who have been vaccinated now regret it? The information that is bleeding out is not good.

We've had all of the Covid shots that have been available to us, 5 in total. My wife and I have not been sick a single day since the pandemic began and have no regrets at all. For as long as our medical doctor continues to recommend vaccinations we continue to get them, Covid, flu, pneumonia, and whatever else comes along in the future. I have no idea what information is bleeding out, and don't care.

Received my 4th Pfizer shot last week.

I'm happy that I got the shots.
Even though my job include working with Covid patients I haven't been infected during the pandemic.

Besides that life have been much easier for me the last couple of years as a result of me being vaccinated - and more importantly: I have been able to travel abroad with no issues.

I'm curious about which informations you are referring to AZMike - and where you have found them?

No regrets at all. My wife's side of the family is split on who has been vaxed, and who has not. Yes, I understand that covid varies widely from person to person. But those who have received the shot, have either not been infected or only ill for a week. Those who have not been vaxed have been ill for 3-4 weeks. That being said, those who have not received the shot, have not actually admitted to having covid. . . . just sick.

I'm coming up on the recommended 6 mo booster. It'll be the "tweaked" version, so we'll see. Not sure I'm gonna do the flu and covid at the same time like last year though.

I regret taking the one and only shot. Especially when they had me sign something saying blood clots could be an issue. I've never felt such a sheep other then the military and the police academy.

Nooooooo say it isn't so Sierra1, now looking back at the evidence it's seems that that it was a money grab and very little though to the consequences. I love capitalism but it has its faults.

The in-laws that don't get vaxed are of similar thinking. All I know is that I caught Omicron before it was really out and about. I didn't think it was covid, 'cuz I wasn't having the stereotypical symptoms. And it only lasted about 5 days. By the time I was done with it, the news about the new symptoms was coming out. Wife caught it, 5 days, and done. Those that were unvaxed were down hard for about a month.

So, no, I don't think it was a money grab. I'm sure people got rich because of it, but covid was/is real. 90% fatality of people over 50? What irritates me is that vaccine was politicized. I have my beliefs as to how/who/why covid started, as I'm sure everybody else does too. No politics being mentioned here.

Not sure what information bleed you're talking about, but I'm an older gent (half again past 50) with asthma and a few other risk factors. I have taken both Moderna shots and the first two boosters so far and am chasing down the new one. No regrets and no illness and I'm around a lot of people that are anti-vax and apparently have a mask allergy. I've lost friends, I believe unnecessarily, that were somewhat politically opposed to either, and it saddens me. I don't know anyone of any age group that was vaxxed and tested positive that has had more than a mild case. It's serious stuff that can affect the rest of your life (look up long Covid) and nothing to mess around with. Maybe just my opinion, but I'm okay with that.

No regrets here. I’m three shots in, will get the Omicron booster as soon as I am able to. Totally anecdotal, but I have yet to get Covid despite travelling non stop for the past year.

Looks like I jumped into the Hiveminded again. So none of you are aware of VAERS and all the young previously healthy athletes dropping dead around the world? Wow. I have worked this entire time with no mask, no vax, no nada. I visit 80 businesses a week and see 100 people a day. No Covid. I am happy that you are happy but this is a little weird.
