I'm told its winterish in the northern parts. Time for snow tyres, but some aren't so keen:

Refusing to put on winter tires on because:
  • It's my car, my choice, my freedom.

  • The effectiveness of winter tires is not proven, except by studies carried out by the manufacturers.

  • My neighbor Fernande had an accident in the snow after putting on her winter tires.

  • Some are already on their third set of tires, which proves their ineffectiveness.

  • We don't know what they are made of.

  • The tire giants scare us with winter just to enrich themselves.

  • In fact, they invented snow and spread it at night while we sleep.

  • The government can use the tires to track us.
Educate yourself, open your eyes, stop being sheep, this year, say no to winter tires.

I'm not using winter tires for the same reason I don't use turn signals, do drive drunk, and text while driving. Same reason I won't get a vaccine or wear a mask.

Dang it, I've got snow tires on my car. How did they get there? I'm going to take them off to prove my points. Where's that rusty jack for me to work under? Jack stands are just a rip-off.

Humans have evolved to resist viruses via our immune systems. That’s how we’ve survived for the last 200,000 years. Some viruses are more severe than others, but we shouldn’t artificially interfere with this basic survival process. Today I’ve had some synthetic Moderna chemical crap shoved into my arm, not because I believe it’s necessary or any use, but so that I can get over to the rest of Europe on my bike next year. What a state have we got ourselves into over a bloody cold and how many 3-monthly jabs of chemicals am I going to have to perhaps reduce the severity of a cold I’m not even at risk from?

I think you need to take into consideration how much Human intervention with the animal world and their environment has impacted on the whole World. And you may not be mentally at risk but i don't think anyone can say there is no physical risk to them. I do understand that if the number of people you interact with is low then yes you could see it as low risk. I would ask this, if you didn't by law need to insure your house or car or bike would you not do it ?. Take a chance with your €30,000 vehicle or cover yourself and other road users just in case. In a nut shell that's what Vaccinations are for. And we evolved by mutations which is what the virus is doing. So imagine the virus is some animal swinging about in the trees. Generations down the line and its had Military training and is clutching an M16. That's a different animal. Each to their own though.

I'm not sure what programming TV has done to me. Lately I've been programming myself with EPL and UEFA football plus Ash vs Evil Dead. Ones a sports-based soap opera, the other an important reminder to not start reciting ancient Sumerian without some care or a handy chainsaw. But everyone is programmed and has the ability to program themselves. Blaming TV or other media is just an excuse to avoid personal accountability for self-programming and decision making.

Never said I am blaming enyone, that is where assumption takes over…
An excuse to avoid personal accountability? What gave you that idea?
I'm just saying I like football and cheesy horror. And that everyone self-programs. And that I'm not no way going to read that skin-bound book I found with anient Sumerian text. Nope not gonna happen. Kunda Barada Necktie. Ah, crap.

. . . . Blaming TV or other media is just an excuse to avoid personal accountability for self-programming and decision making.
Yep, that’s the idea… And there is nothing wrong with being an Atheist.
(Or Christian, or Buddhist, or Muslim, or anything else. Respect is key.)
+1 x 2.
People avoiding personal responsibility/accountability has becoming an ever-increasing issue. As has the amount of respect that people are not giving others. I am a non-believer, but I don't consider myself as an Atheist. The Atheists that I keep seeing, are narrow minded and refuse to respect the religious beliefs of others. The 80-year-old great grandmother that I work out with, is deeply religious. She prays for me daily even though she knows I'm a nonbeliever. She is ultimately confident that I will one day see the error of my ways.

I have no issues respecting other's beliefs. Until their beliefs impact mine, and they don't care due to their lack of respect for me. If a person doesn't want the vaccine, that's fine. Wear a sign warning people that you might infect them. Only seems fair. You have the right to not get the shot, and I have the right not to get infected.

One last thing . . . . why does it seem that those that don't want the vaccine . . . . go out of their way to ridicule and demean those that do. I see meme everywhere referring to those that get vaccinated as sheep, idiots, etc. Those that refuse the shot are acting as if they're better than those who don't. But I don't see the opposite. Nobody is saying anything derogatory to/about those that refuse the shot. Just another example of respect not being given.

When I ask somebody if they got the vaccine. If it's a yes. They usually just say yes and sometimes ask if I have. That's about it. Ask an antivaxer and it's usually a big long line of $hit. I've been told I'm not supposed to ask. Too bad.

Yes! As if they're trying to convince themselves why they're not going to get the shot. I'm guessing that they're referring to HIPPA if you ask them? Not a violation.

I am an atheist and i (obviously) don't consider myself narrow minded and i respect everyone's right to believe in whatever they want.
But dont expect me to respect the religion they believe in.

I'm awaiting my third covid shot, convinced mainly by the testimony of antivaxers who survived a bout with covid, and whose advice to their cohorts is invariably "Oh, get the stupid shot already !"
In ICU they don't let you smoke or ride your bike, so you miss a lot of opportunities to die of something that at least gave you a modicum of satisfaction.
For my pro-con stance, I rely on Ambrose Bierce's definition of selfish: "Devoid of consideration for the selfishness of others".

Wow! You support a modern day Judenstern? That is a very slippery slope.
