Getting close to expiration date on the first wave of people that got the first vaccine. Question now "will you take the 2nd vaccine"? The first hasn't helped anything according to the reported numbers so far, but this could be explained a couple ways.
1. Vaccine does nothing.
2. Vaccine works, but CDC lies about numbers to keep everyone in fear and fight to find a place to get vaccination to be sure all get vaccinated.
Either way, look forward to this for the rest of life for most of us, unless maybe some reading here are 2yrs old.

Why would the CDC want the world to get a vaccine that does nothing? Who is your source for the "reported numbers that it does nothing" The CDC.

This shit is hitting India so bad now. Sloppy Joe is putting travel restrictions on India. Even though he was dead against the former prez for restrictions on China.

That's good example of evolutionary processes but not the scientific method. In the scientific method theories are formed, tested and confirmed - intelligently conducted, not by mere chance as described in that video. Intelligent design, proposed as an alternative to traditional evolution, supposes a superior intelligence directing a series of experiments or advancements would compare more closely to the scientific method. Not to disrespect either view, just my explanation of the differences/definitions of the processes.
I think the aim here is to make it simple to understand.

The thing is if the Western World does not do everything it can in the so called third world to stamp out the virus it simply will not go away.

The media reported that the local governments were considering paying people $50 to receive the vaccine, because the demand has dropped so much. Texas is at 36% full vaccinated, with almost no demand for additional vaccinations. Luckily it's against the law to pay people to take it. It would have been interesting how many people that didn't trust the vaccine. . . . would take it for $50. Way to stand behind your convictions.

Absolutely. It does the rest of us no good to leave a festering swamp of this infection anywhere on the globe as in today's mobilized world it will surely continue to spread. Worse, the longer this virus persists, the more time and chances it has to create variants. I equate this pandemic to those airline safety instructions when cabin pressure is lost, to put your mask on first to make sure you are able to help others less capable.

Actually, they should have held off on the last stimulus payment and only given it to those that had been vaccinated.

I just got my second shot on Monday. Tuesday was a rough day for me. Chills, body aches.

Shot was suppose to be last Friday so if I felt bad it would be on Saturday and not a work day. But when I showed up for my 1:50 appointment at 1:15 I was told that they ran out of vaccine. So much for having an appointment. I felt like Seinfeld at the rental car counter asking the lady if she knew what the point of a reservation was.

Apparently, due to enough people refusing to receive the vaccine. . . . those that do/will accept . . . . will have to do so annually. Because, with such a large number of people remaining unvaccinated, the chance of being infected will require this. Since there will always be enough "hosts" for the virus to infect, it will just keep making the rounds. So, hopefully there are no long term negative vaccine side effects. . . . 'cuz, I'm gonna keep getting it along with the flu shot. At least 'till covid burns itself out.
