Picking up a 2014 Super Tenere ES and I am tossing around whether I will be getting the Touratech Zega Pro panniers or the Jesse Odyssey panniers. Does anyone know if the 2013 (& prior) mounts for these pannier options will also fit the 2014 ES?

Thanks for your responses guys. I sent an email to Jesse Luggage and they promptly replied with an unknown answer yet as well. Hoping that both companies will find a way to confirm fitment or will make and release new mounts soon. It's a real bummer not having bags to pack anything in haha

The TT racks won't fit the 2014 ES but will they fit the standard?
I can't quote chapter and verse, but I researched this very question pretty thoroughly on this forum (and others) a few weeks ago and the answer seems to be (unless one of the manufacturers has released a new rack) that no aftermarket rack for side cases fits the ES without some modification to either the bike or rack. But the research indicated that virtually all of the racks for the earlier generation fit the '14 base model. This was perhaps the biggest reason I decided to go with the base version, can't wait for racks to get developed to get out on adventures.
Of course the Yamaha system is an option.
Maybe there are some options I missed...

This is good news. I've got a set of TT Zega begs I may want to transfer to a 2014. Like you I didn't want to buy the bike then wait forever for the racks.

How about the rear rack? I've got a Hepco Becker topcase mount I may want to transfer from a 2013 to a '14.

One member, Brick, mounted SW Motech Trax bags on Givi racks on his 2014 ES with the Trax adapters that he had used on his 2012. I believe another used the standard SW Motech racks on an ES.

Fred is correct. There is a rack that will mount to the ES....I found this:

"Yes they are the Givi quick remove racks with the SW-Moto adaptor bracket which allows me to mount the Trax bags to my Super Tenere bikes. The standard Givi brackets will not mount mount to the 2014 ES.

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread. Yamaha dealer quoted me $1800. ::025::
