Where does the screw go?

This Allen screw fell out the left side of my bike and I don't know where it came from. I was working on the radiator cover and, it stumbled out. Does anyone know what the screw is for, where it goes?
Doesn't look like a stock bolt to me.

That's promising news! LOL I was hoping it's not something to do with throttle body adjustments underneath the tank or some other important component.
Hold on i could be wrong. Although sometimes when people add extras they can easily drop something. Does ot have any loctite or thread lock on it ?. Most things on this bike have it.

kinda looks like one of the screws used to hold the wheel speed sensors?
I reckon the head is wrong for it to be one of those.

I work on my bike for most maintenance stuff and don’t recognise it. The nearest I can match it with my experience, is the fuel cap holding bolts, which are removed if fitting a tank bag locking ring.

Fork leg pinch bolts and yoke pinch bolts holding the fork legs in place are also similar, but probably too short.

It may be one of the bolts that attach the left side upper cowling (with plastic washers) or the left side lower cover (with metal washers):

Hmmm, Not sure. It’s much thinner than the screws that go into the cowling, approx 1/16” wide. I’ve never heard any rattling, I assume that screw has been in there for a while. I will continue to ride the bike and see if there are any downsides by not having the screw in.
Thanks everyone!

I would have assumed that the left & right panels had the same fasteners. The battery panel has quick releases. The radiator side does not?

Definitely not one of the panel mounting screws. Surprisingly, it looks very similar to the track lighting fixture screw to mount on the ceiling. Very strange.
