Past San Manuel, east of Mt Lemmon. Cool curvy ride down to the San Pedro River. 35 mph speed limit, I don't think so...

Lots of huge old Saguaros. The last one was getting some unfortunate abuse.

Man, I need to get back there next winter, riding 102 mph through Superior would be a blast!

I believe that was a GPS malfunction (probably through the Queen Creek tunnel there). Usually I get the max speed removed in these videos...

Looking forward to your return.

I had a few hours so went to see how the 4 Peaks trail looked. Our weather has been cold and wet for AZ, so I haven't done much off road. Kind of an auspicious start as they had been repairing and grading. I hate riding the trails after grading with all the loose sand and rocks and no clean lines. I was just ready to turn around when I found the end of the maintenance. Good ride after that as far as I got in the time available. Planning to go back and finish it soon.

I rode it in October.
It was in pretty decent shape from what I remembered of the previous time i rode over.
There were some exposed rocks and slabs on the west-side, and as always the east-side was in much nicer shape.
Always love riding over that road........................which reminds me, I need to get my ride-report going on my trip thread!

Florence/Kelvin Road and Cochran Road. I remembered lots of sand out to Cochran but it was more than I remembered. My sand skills always need practice, so it was good, but challenging.
