Yeah, while she's rolling, she's pretty light. But, waking her up after a nap . . . . she feels every bit of her 600+ pounds.

We finally have Tenera 700 for sale, the price of course is twice as high as the factory one. But the result is already there. But Tenera 900 comes out in 2023. We will wait for her))

In the US, if you are an honorably retired peace officer, and you qualify annually, you can carry a firearm nationwide. Independent from individual State permits. There are, of course, restrictions but it reduces the "red tape".
Sweet! That ain’t gonna happen over here for sure. Most “normal” street cops are absolute crap with guns.

Sadly, I think that might be more common than not. My rangemaster buddy is always complaining about having to fix/replace the target frames. I've actually had a guy shoot my target by accident before. Fortunately, swat/ert guys are much better.

Any prospect on a bike?
There is! You can go to Central Asia, they discovered Georgia. But there are many Ukrainians in Georgia! How it all might end is unknown))
And most importantly, prices are falling, $, € are equally low. You can still go to Armenia, Iran, well, and in Russia)) True, there is nothing yet, motorcycles are just space, but prices have begun to drop.
At the exchange rate of $, it cost 600 thousand rubles, but this is without customs. From Europe it was possible to bring for 1 million rubles, which is very expensive for such a motorcycle.

We went for a pie run in Trout Lake, WA. About 250 miles round trip. On the way there and back there was a large repaving project going on hwy 97. Much longer back ups coming back home.

We came across this valley. It is amazing how vibrant the greenery is here..

What more could you ask for, a snake like road and beautiful scenery?

Another canyon. I keep seeing other creatures on these rides

Outside of Trout Lake. Yes the flowers were that bright.

Found this bridge on some backroad. It was the first covered bridge my buddy had seen, so he had to ride thru it.

This is Mount Adams. A dormant volcano east of Mount St Helens.IMG_2186 resized.jpg

To be continued....

On the way back we saw this side road to an overlook and decided to check it out.

This is the view from the scenic overlook where we ate our pie. The river on the left dropped very quickly down to the other river. We could hear it as soon as we turned off the bikes. The road by the fiver on the right is on the Yakama Indian reservation side. It did not come out where the road crossed the river a few miles down stream, so not sure where it went or ended.

We ran across this guy at a gas station on the way back. He said he was going to do the WA BDR as a first ride on his new to him Honda CRF 450L. He said that the lady in the black suv started honking her horn and flashing her lights behind him because he was on fire. They stopped and poured coke and water as well as anything else they had on the fire. The lady stayed with him the whole time we were filling our tanks. He was not hurt. We offered to carry something back to Yakima for him, but he said he was going to continue on his trip. He said he bought the muffler because it was supposed to run cool and not get hot. He thought that a clump of tar got caught in between the muffler and the plastic. We could not see any other tar goop on the tires. So not sure what or how it happened. Nothing like an adventure before the adventure.
