. . . . You won't believe what happened to us to the way to the top.
We raced........ FERRARIS!!!!
Raced the Ferraris while you were on your bikes? Or did you get to drive the Ferraris? Either way. . . . I'd have to smoke a cigarette afterwards. (and I don't smoke)

We were followed by 4 Ferraris and one Porche....
Usually I drive in front because I tend to plan the way we'll go but this time I allowed the others to lead so that I could follow...
I played with a black Ferrari for a while then I thought I would "let" them pass me by so they could enjoy the twisty road...
At The junctions my mates went the wrong way, the First Ferrari stopped to wait for the others to re-group and I took my chance!
I was chased all the way to the top and I will probably never drive that fast again!
I am not that fool, I know the Ferrari had few chances to overtake me but by the grin of the driver ' face I am pretty sure he had a good time chasing my elephant too...
Oh man what a hell of experience...
Unfortunately I can not attach the video my brother made.

I had some free time so I decided to ride a loop I hadn't done in nearly 10 years. Sadly there was a forest fire that ran through there a few years back so it was all just a scorched landscape. All the parks were closed too, so there was nowhere to stop and take pics of the devastation.

All that said, the road was still a blast to ride. However, I forgot that one of the dozens of cattle crossing guards is placed smack dab in the apex of a right-hand turn... I don't know who the engineer was that put that thing there but I hope the fleas of a thousand camels infests his genitals.

A few sections of the road are a bit rough, so anyone riding Del Puerto Canyon Rd (West from Patterson, CA) for the first time should probably be prepared to have your kidneys rearranged. I hit one bump so hard it almost bucked me off my bike. I bought this bike second-hand from a great guy who farkled the crap out of it, but he also put on a Hyperco 1100lb rear spring which is clearly WAAAYYY too much spring for me. He was nice enough to throw in the OEM spring, so I'll be having my mechanic install it and set my suspension up for my weight. Otherwise, that super stiff suspension is AWESOME in the twisties when the road is smooth. All in all, a great way to spend a few hours with my "new to me" bike.

Hi to all!
I had the opportunity to go to Villa Victoria in the State of Mexico, about 100 Mi from Mexico City, we got together about 20 bikes and had good time, light rain all the way, no incidents and had the opportunity to ride with some friends.

I visited the village of Tørvikbygd yesterday, to meet with clients and study the new marina there. It got late, so I spent the night at the town of Norheimsund in spite of the distance from home being only 81 kms/50 miles. Didn't want to get home far beyond midnight due to road construction, plus the weather was less than ideal for night driving. In my childhood days, when goinng eastwards this route was our only alternative. Then the built new highways further east, including the world's longest road tunnel. Now this area is "back in style" again, as a we need to pass right through the town and catch the ferry at Tørvikbygd to get quickly to Odda and up and over the mountains. To get from Bergen to Norheimsund, we cross a mountain range with stunning landscapes and twisty roads with blind curves only. A fun drive, best enjoyed at speeds not too much in excess of the speed limit (80k/50m).

I took my older brother and my brother in law up to the Stelvio' pass.
It's the highest in Italy and the second one in Europe I believe.
Now being Italian I'm a little bit on my side but...
C'mon it has to be on the top five of the best roads in Europe!!!!

That’s an awesome pass to ride, it did it twice when I was in the neighborhood with my car. But to fully enjoy it, it’s way too busy in my opinion. The scenery makes up for that though.

You are right
It very busy.
Every time I go there I leave home around 6 am in order to beat the traffic and be there around 11 because by lunch time it gets too crowded but honestly it is worth every time
Been there, done that. (Stelvio, on a bike)
I have a huge respect for whom make it to any pass I ride to the top...
So well done mate I actually envy you because one thing is to go with the motorcycle another is to go with the cycle...
All my respect! !!!
