Exactly! My next long weekend trip will be up to Death Valley. Can't wait.

Another nice loop for you to consider for summer is the "9 Mile Road" through Kennedy Meadows. I too am excited to take my Super Tenere to Death Valley once I heal up.

If you get tired of my posts, just tell me to back off. I figure given the weather across the country, pictures with sun, warmth, and a little sand may be appreciated.
Scouting entry to the Box Canyon Area east of 79, south of 60, and North of the Gila River. Tried from the west first. Pretty sure I could have made this hill, but there were several convoys coming against me, and if I met someone coming down it would not have ended well. Needed a spotter.

Headed down to East Price Road, following the Gila River. Over to North Box Canyon Road. Got my sand practice in today. Will go back and go further in the near future with more time.

Met a side by side limping out with 3 wheels, dragging the left rear axle. I caught up with him on the way out, raising clouds of dust. Hard to read the sand in all that dust. Finally got around when he hit some rocks.

There is a big Country Western festival here in non-covid times.

Rt 288 to Young, Trail 200 to the Mogollon Rim Rt 260. Back home through Payson and the Bee Line Rt 87. Really windy on the Bee Line. Dust storm hiding alot of the Mountains. Right now we can't see the mountains behind us.
Can you see the RVs camping out there?

Love the smell of the forest, snow is almost gone unless we get more.

So this is Young, AZ. End of Rt 288. I took trail 200 North.

I live in the wrong state. Jealousy pictures all over the place the last few weeks. Thank you everyone for sharing. Here in NJ we received a good aount of snow last month and riding came to a halt. Yesterday was the 1st 'real' ride. Not far but good enough of a ride with a few friends over some good food.

Great to get out and not worry about the massive amounts of salt all over the roads. Enjoy the day everyone.

. . . . We got a lot of bays here...
Y'all got a lot of water. I used to live in the Wyandotte/Lincoln Park area. When I went to boot camp in Great Lakes, a lot of guys wouldn't believe that Lake Michigan was a lake since they couldn't see the other side.
