Nice pics guys! Man oh man how I miss the desert. Those Saguaros are awesome!

Hey @eemsreno , those look like E-07+'s, at least on the rear. Is that right? And if so, how are they in the snow? I have run down a set of E-07's but never ran them in the winter. I was pleasantly surprised at the traction offered up by the Michelin Anakee Adventure on my Stelvio.
Yes E-O7+ front and rear.
I think they are great tires and I went off road into deep snow thinking that I would get stuck but they just plowed through with no problem.
I just wish they lasted longer. I might go back to the E-O7 non + They always treated me great!

If I had 2 bikes, one would have studs all winter. But I really dislike the feel of studs on dry pavement or even wet pavement. Where I live if I don't ride in the snow my riding season is seriously shortened...

Since the weather was sunny and bright with a temp just above 0C. I decided to get outside and try out some new riding gear, and get in some riding on a twisty local road close to Halifax Nova Scotia. Not shown in the picture was that half the lake was covered by a thin skim of ice. One comment on some of the new riding gear which consisted of a Scorpion EXO-AT950 helmet and Klim Overland pants. The EXO-AT950 peak visor worked great to block out the low level sun. It made riding into the setting sun easy, with much better vision and less glare than my previous standard helmet. 20210109_140704.jpg

A disappointing ride today. Headed off to 4 Peaks area. The desert along Beeline Hiway was badly burned. I knew about the fires when they happened, and knew they had burned up the west side of 4 Peaks but it really burned hot. Headed up the trail but found it closed not far in. They are afraid of erosion if we ever get rain. Sad as it was a good ride over, even solo with no hesitation. Did find out it is open on the other side up to the top.

It doesn't look like many of the cacti or plants will survive.
Resorted to riding an ATV trail through the flatter desert. Lots of whoops and berms. Probably not the best bike for whoops, but the suspension works well just keeping both wheels on the ground.

Well, I'm envious of anyone who can get out for a ride this time of year.
I'm in Southern Ontario, Canada

That sucks about Four peaks. That road from the west side up and over was a really cool ride on the S10.
Hopefully it will eventually reopen, as well as Apache Trail past the Fish Creek area.
