Yup. Always wearing good gear, and since I was standing, easier to eject off the bike. Continued on for another 200 miles after that to complete the route I was doing. Going to be with my daughter today, and back out on the bike tomorrow.
As anyone here knows, you play in the dirt, this is going to happen. My crash bars have had a workout over the years.
I recently got to tour around in Georgia on my way to Florida. Glad I didn't hit loose sand unexpectedly. Most of the roads I got to ride were pretty good. Just a few ruts and loose stuff. I enjoyed it!
