A 1 Square Acre riding park with about a dozen trails: "SAN LUIS RESERVOIR OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLE RECREATION AREA, Gustine, CA". Had a great time blasting around in the dirt although I think the name is longer than the trails, pretty flat but just enough hill to get a sense of what a hill or bump might feel like. I was the only one within sight except for the security dudes guarding the empty lot across the street.

We did about 210 per day on the actual BDR route... that's about right for me on these types of roads. The trip back was one long 850 mile shot. With my knee hurting from dumping the S10 on Expert 8 section, I just wanted to get home.
Makes sense :)

Hi Bryce,
That sounds like a trip I want to do next year. Do you have a ride report posted somewhere else?
And did you follow Sam’s or Kevin’s TAT tracks? I am interested in the route you took to the beginning of the MABDR.

First decent snow of the year - about 5" - so I didn't take my Tenere anywhere. Hopefully will be able to get out 1-2 more times this year before the heavy snows come.
I was thinking the same thing today......................

We did about 350 km's in the Ardennes Forest, Dinant / Maredsous / Rochefort / La-Roche-En-Ardenne / Durbuy / Huy. Many famous cheeses were consumed and much petrol was turned into heat and noise.

She now has 1300km's on the clock so she's going to the dealer on Monday for the 1000km service. I know, I know, I rode a bit much but we had a few perfect late-summer days like today (30 degrees celcius or 87 degrees farenheit in October!) so I couldn't resist.

After 3 years on a first gen bike I can say this one feels alot smoother then my old one. Love the ES suspension, especially on the sometimes iffy roadsurfaces we get in Belgium.

My wife's Yamaha Tracer 700 preformed adequately aswell I was informed :) All in all a very good day!

I was going to go to the Pyrenees and Spain, but a problem with a tendon in my right wrist made me have a change of plan. I have just got home from a week-long ride to Westphalia, Germany via San Quentin and Bastogne.

I have fitted the new Michelin Road 5's. And after a week of glorious weather, I finally got to try them in the wet as I got dumped on for the last 30 miles to my home in SW London. Happy to say they work very well.

It was easy riding through France and Belgium.

Westphalia though is something else. As usual most of the best scenery and twisty roads had nowhere to stop for a photo, but it is well worth a visit.

But your view is nice:cool:.
No snow in Denmark, but -4 celsius this night....and salt on the road.
So a wash, and afterwards a very small drive to get it dry, and then in the "sunroom" ?? (patio with walls, roof, doors and completly dry, but no heat)

Yep, the views are spectacular, we are lucky!
Mine will live in the garage for the next 5-6 months, unless we get a really dry weekend in between, the cold I don't mind, the wet and leafy roads.... not so much.

got home from Big Bend national park this evening , about 1100 miles in 4 days of riding ….. it was my first time there and I have lived in Texas all my life..... worth the trip ? yes it was.... no traffic no crowds and very cool scenery ..... I guess what took so long to go was that it takes so long to get there, you really have to want to go or you won't go.... having great friends to go with even better.
